Company leadership celebrates latest development of Stelzer Road corridor
Columbus-based America’s Floor Source kicked off construction of its future headquarters this morning on the city’s northeast side. The 5th largest specialty flooring retailer in the U.S., America’s Floor Source is partnering with The Daimler Group to develop the 28-acre property at 2145 Stelzer Road, midway between Citygate Drive and Agler Road. The facility will include a state-of-the-art showroom open to the public, a design studio for Home Builders’ clients, a full-scale training center, expansive warehouse capacity, and the company’s corporate office.
“We are very excited to move forward with construction of this facility,” said Jason Goldberg, founder and CEO of America’s Floor Source. “It will have a major impact on our business.”
The $30 million project is the latest in a 20+ year period of growth for America’s Floor Source, and will help to further bridge the area between John Glenn Columbus International Airport and Easton Town Center. When finished, the new facility is expected to drive more retail traffic to the area, and will allow America’s Floor Source to better serve its customers from a central location that is easily accessible from all parts of the city.

Construction of this new facility seeks to further build upon the strong growth of America’s Floor Source since its founding. In the past year alone, the company has acquired three other flooring businesses – JP Flooring Design Center and Reliant Flooring Solutions in Cincinnati, and The Flooring Gallery with locations in Kentucky and Indiana.
Going back to July of 2000, CEO Jason Goldberg opened the first America’s Floor Source showroom behind a small church on Columbus’ southeast side, with a team of six loyal employees and a small base of home builder customers. In its first year, the company managed to do $5 million in sales, an impressive number for a brand new company.
Recent expansion has placed America’s Floor Source among the top-5 flooring companies in the country.
Now operating with projected 2022 revenue over $190 million, America’s Floor Source has over 410 employees and 9 locations across three states – serving a variety of customers, including homebuilders, homeowners, property management companies, wholesale customers, and commercial clients.
